4/20/14: White Sox Crush Rangers In Arlington

Chicago IL- Connor Gilliaspie hit the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth, as the White Sox rolled past the Rangers 16-2. 

Dayan Viciedo, Jordan Danks, and Jose Abreu all homered in the game. Marcus Seimen went 4 for 6 with 4 RBI. He had an RBI single and bases-clearing RBI triple. Jose Abreu went 3 for 6 with 3 RBI. He hit a two-run home run, and had an RBI double. Dayan Viciedo went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI. He hit a solo shot, and had an RBI single. Some other notable players were Alexei Ramirez and Tyler Flowers. Ramirez went 2 for 5, while Flowers went 3 for 4. Erik Johnson tossed five innings of two-run ball in the win.

The whole Ranger's offense struggled, but they still collected six walks. Robbie Ross started for the Rangers, as he went 5.1 innings, giving up seven hits, seven runs, four earned runs, and struck out eight. 

The White Sox start a new series against the Detroit Tigers on April 21, 2014. John Danks will face Anibal Sanchez at 6:08 CT at Comerica Park.
