Chicago IL- Chris Sale usually finishes a night sore after starting a ball game. However, Chris Sale is still sore from his Thursday night start.
On Thursday night against the Red Sox, Chris Sale threw a career high 127 pitches. He has experienced issues like this in 2011 when he transferred from the starting rotation to the closer's role.
An MRI has not been taken, nor will be needed for Sale says manager Robin Ventura.
Andre Rienzo would start on Tuesday, and a call up for a minor league starter would pitch Wednesday.
The White Sox are hoping what's holding Sale back isn't too serious.
