4/21/14 White Sox Comeback To Beat Tigers In Opener In Detroit



Chicago, IL- Dayan Viciedo hit the go-ahead RBI double in the top of the seventh as the White Sox beat the Tigers 3-1.

Jose Abreu and Dayan Viciedo both went 1 for 4 with 1 RBI. John Danks pitched 6.1 innings of one run ball. Ronald Belisario pitched well out of relief, while Matt Lindstrom earned his second save of the season.

Tori Hunter hit well for the Tigers, as he went 2 for 4. Anibal Sanchez started for the Tigers, going 6.1 innings, giving up five hits, three earned runs, one walk, while collecting five strikeouts. 

Three challenges occurred in the game with  Robbie losing his forth straight challenge. So far this season he is 0 for 4 in replay challenges. 

The White Sox play the the Tigers next on April 22, 2014 at 6:05 CT. It will be the second game of the four-game series at Comerica Park.
