Gordon Beckham To Return Tomorrow

Chicago, IL- According to Scott Merkin of MLB.com, Gordon Beckham will be back on the White Sox tomorrow. This move sends Charlie Leesman back down to the Minors.

Gordon Beckahm, a career .249 hitter, has spent his entire five-year career with the White Sox. He was drafted by the team as the number eight overall pick in the 2008 amateur draft. Last season, Beckham batted .267 with an OBP of .322 with 5 HR and 24 RBI in the 103 games he played.

Marcus Semien, who has spent fifteen games at second this year, will probably be moved to third base or a utility role. So far this season he has hit .234 with 3 HR.

Charlie Leesman will be sent back down to the Minors. At the Major League level he has career numbers of 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA. However, in the Minors he has career numbers of 53-33 with an ERA of 3.39.
